Hi I'm Tracy

I am a born and bred West Virginian who grew up as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of an 11 year old boy and two step daughters who are in their late teens and early twenties. I love to hike, read, cook, and spend time with my family. I grew up LDS in southern West Virginia. As the only member in my high school and one of the few LDS members in college I have developed a thick skin and a good sense of humor. I love opportunities to share the gospel- mostly in the small day to day interactions with others. Life is good.

Why I am a Mormon

I have made the choice to be an active member of the church because of the experiences I have had that have taught me that it is true. Because it is true I try to live my life in accordance with the principles. As I continue to strive to live it I gain a better understanding of the truths the gospel teaches. It is not easy, it is not without trials or difficulties but is wonderful. I have joy because of the gospel of Christ and the restoration of His Church.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as the Relief Society president of the ward I attend. I have been humbled as I have served the sisters of the ward. I am constantly amazed by by the big hearts of the sisters as they serve and help one another- they make my job easier. Our ward family is close as we try to teach each other and strengthen each other. Really that is what is all about, helping one another get closer to Christ.
