Hi I'm Eric

I play music. I create music. I live music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I would most accurately describe myself as a musician. When I was in 7th grade of Secondary School I discovered my most solid hobby and passion: The creation of Electronic Music. I always have music going through my head whether it is written by somebody else or a little melody that repeats in my mind, I had found an outlet for those musical ideas in which the possibilities were quite literally infinite. With Electronic Music, I can create any mood or feeling and I can make virtually any sound. I would label the creation of music as my most dominant skill and hobby because most of my work and time up to this point in my life goes towards it. I also play a couple instruments. I was in my high school Jazz and Percussion ensembles in which I would usually play the Drum Set. I also play guitar but I am solely self taught. The second most important thing about music, after creating it, is listening to a song and feeling what the respective artist felt. I mean, what you or I feel may not be what the artist had specifically intended, but it is what you take from their creation that makes it a beautiful personal experience. Give me an opportunity to talk about Music, Star Wars, or Graphic Design and I will completely Geek Out.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the same church that Jesus Christ organized while He was on earth among us. When I apply the things that I am taught by my leaders, parents, men ordained of God (called apostles), and the prophet I know that I am making God happy. To my Father in Heaven who has given me everything, doing simple things every day to make Him happy is the least I can do to give Him something back. In doing so, in turn, I am happy too.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday and partaking of the sacrament. The sacrament in the Latter-Day Saint church is an ordinance or practice where I remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for me and I am reminded of the promises that I made to God when I was baptized. Because I have a weekly reminder of The Atonement that Jesus made for me, and what I have promised God, I am always motivated to do things that would make God, My Father in Heaven, happy. Those things include reading from my scriptures every day, listening to the living prophet of God: Thomas S. Monson, keeping the commandments, and always having a prayer in my heart so I can have God's love with me to share it with everybody that I meet.
