Hi I'm Sky

Utah to Georgia. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the second oldest of six, and my family is everything to me! A few of my favorite things are sunsets, potatoes, water, beaches, basketball, sister time, hiking, fishing, math, the temple, and biscuits and gravy. I enjoy playing sports (especially basketball), running, learning, serving, eating, smiling, and doing things with my friends. Right now I am serving in the Georgia Atlanta Mission, and I love being a missionary and the miracles I get to see daily! Before my mission I was a math tutor and I studied at BYU and will continue there when I return home. I aspire to be happy, and I aspire to be like my mother, she is one of my greatest examples, but more than anything I want to be like my Savior, to be the best child of God that I know how to be.

Why I am a Mormon

I don't believe just because of my parents, or because of some extensive study or super powerful spiritual experience. Rather I believe because of the many quiet moments when the Spirit whispers that it's true. I believe because if I didn't have faith, there's no way I could go on. I believe because I've seen the blessings of living the gospel. I believe because I've received answers to my prayers, because I've felt peace through my storms, because I've felt the joy of God's loving forgiveness. In essence I believe because I've asked my Father in heaven if it's true, and time and time again He tells me yes.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by devoting all my time as a missionary to bringing the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the wonderful people of Georgia. I love seeing the change that Christ brings into people's lives, from the young to the old, the short and the tall...we all need Him and I love spreading that love! I get to meet all sorts of people, and I can feel God's love for each of them!
