Hi I'm Jeran

I enjoy learning about my ancestors and archiving their stories, photos, and memories. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My greatest joy in life has always come from family. I grew up in a gospel-centered home that abounded in love. I now have a sweet wife and children of my own. They bring me indescribable joy. I have always enjoyed photography, videography, and nature. I spend a lot of time working in my yard growing unique trees and plants, as well as a large vegetable garden. I have chosen a career path that revolves around trees in urban settings. I enjoy traveling and experiencing new things. My family likes to travel around the United States and visit National Parks, museums, zoos, and historical sites. My love of history is heightened in family history work. I enjoy researching my ancestors and learning about their lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I started attending church when I was eight years old. From a young age my testimony of the gospel began to grow. Going on a mission was a hard decision for me. It took a lot of prayer and faith to make the decision to go. I will be forever grateful that I did go on a mission. This experience was instrumental in my conversion to the gospel. I have learned that conversion is a life long process. I have had many sacred experiences in which the Atonement of Jesus Christ has helped me in my life. I love my Savior and I know that he is truly mindful of me. I know that I truly can return to my Heavenly Father and live with my family forever, if I follow the promptings of the spirit, keep the commandments, and endure to the end.

How I live my faith

I currently work with the youth in my ward. I am amazed at how different junior high and high school are from when I was that age. It is enjoyable to see their sincere desire to learn about the gospel. I also enjoy teaching my children the simple truths of the gospel. Children have such pure faith. I am strengthened each day as I study from the scriptures and pray to my Heavenly Father. It is such a blessing to have the spirit in my life. The Lord truly helps me on a daily basis, even with small things in my life that are important to me at the time.
