Hi I'm Maddi

I'm a world traveler, I'm a student, I'm a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I'm a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I'm serving in the Washington Seattle mission, speaking Russian. I love serving the Lord with all my heart, because nothing makes me happier than the gospel. Some things about me include: I plan on being a Kindergarten teacher because I absolutely love working with kids, I love to travel and have been to a lot of different countries, I love to read, make people laugh, and spend time with my family. I've grown up in Utah almost my whole life, and I can't wait to go and serve in Washington and get to know the people there. I love learning about other cultures and immersing myself in them. I love trying new foods to eat, mostly because I love eating. I love meeting new people and getting to know who they are. This Church makes me so, so happy, and without it, I would be nothing!

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of the Church for my whole life, but gaining a testimony has been a personal journey for me. As I've studied the Book of Mormon, I've gained a testimony of it's truthfulness as I've prayed for the desire to know that it is true. I was around 14 when I first felt like I had to fully rely on Heavenly Father's love for me to get through life. It was then that I had to trust in God's plan for me, and know that it would make me happier to follow God than follow my own plans of happiness. I love this gospel with all of my heart. I know that it is true. It's through my knowledge of God's love that I get through daily life. Life will never be easy, but if we rely on our Savior Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven then we can find peace and joy in every day of this life. I'm so grateful for that knowledge.

How I live my faith

As a missionary, we spend 100% of our time serving the Lord. We leave behind our families, our schooling, our jobs, friends, and everything for 18 months or 2 years, and put that time towards serving God. Serving a mission is completely optional, but it's something I know I needed in my life. I love serving people and am so excited for this opportunity to be a missionary. I show my faith by reading my scriptures every day, praying to God about all aspects of my life, serving others and helping them come unto Christ, going to Church every Sunday, and really just turning my thoughts and actions towards the Savior. I love the gospel so much and I feel its impact in every aspect of my life.
