Hi I'm Hannah B.

I grew up in Utah with my parents and three siblings. I love music, running, photography and the Gospel. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! My name is Hannah! I have lived in Utah my whole life, but love to travel! I have been to most states in the U.S. I have only been out of the country once, to mexico. It was awesome! I will soon be going to Russia, however, as a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am so excited! I also love to run. I have run three half marathons, and did cross country in high school. I also love music! I play piano, cello and sing. I can also play bass, viola, violin and clarinet, but am not very good at them yet. I am currently studying Music Education- Choral Emphasis at Brigham Young University and am loving it. Another hobby I have is photography. I love to find beauty in nature, it helps me to see the hand of God in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Many people might think that I am a Mormon because my parents and siblings are. They might think that I am a Mormon because all of my friends are Mormon. This, however, is not completely true. I am a Mormon because it brings me closer to God, my creator, Father, and Friend. Many religions have much of the truth that can be found in the Mormon church, however, only the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has the WHOLE truth. I have come to realize this more and more as I have STUDIED and WORKED to learn more about this gospel. This gospel truly is good news. It helps me to serve and love others. It helps me to be served and loved by people I can trust. But most importantly, it brings me closer to my Father in Heaven, through Jesus Christ and His all encompassing atonement. I love the Lord. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a gospel doctrine teacher in my singles ward. I love it so much! I have learned so much, and hope to help others to learn as well. I have recently been called to serve in the Vladivostok Russia mission, and will report on June 1. I also love to volunteer at my local art museum, the Springville Museum of Art. This service has brought me closer to my community and closer to God as I have felt of His Holy Ghost and created many lasting friendships with the people that I serve.
