Hi I'm Vanessa

I'm a Montana girl. I'm now a college student getting my degree in Teaching Social Sciences. I love cats and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My friends might say that I am obsessed with cats and that I am one of the clumsiest people in the world. :) I enjoy reading historical fiction because I love history and all it teaches us about humanity. I also love to take walks in early spring and go hiking in the beautiful mountains of Montana in the summers. Tennis is the best sport and barbecues are always at the best parties.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because living a life where I know God loves me and that I have purpose makes all the difference. What a comfort it is to know that I am not alone in this life and that I am here to learn, make mistakes, and to grow into what my Heavenly Father wants me to be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through participating in service as I give back to the communities around me. Seeing others uplifted and strengthened makes me feel that I am following in the steps of my Savior.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

As a Mormon, and as a human being, it is important that we reach out an help ever one in need no matter the sex, race, religion, or ethnicity someone claims to be. I find joy and happiness in serving communities and reaching out to those who may be struggling if they are a friend or a passerby on the street. We are encouraged to do as Jesus would and lift all of those around us. Show more Show less
