Hi I'm Stephanie

I am a student. I love to travel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Washington, and moved to Utah when I was young. At the age of 14 I had the opportunity to move with my family to live in Ecuador, while my Dad served as the mission President of Quito. Living away from what I knew was "home" at a young age, planted a desire in me to want to travel, and learn about people from all over the world. I love going to school, and I am currently a junior at Brigham Young University.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because living this gospel makes me happy. I have grown up in the church, but it wasn't until I got older and became more independent that I began to think about the "why" of being a member. I make the choice everyday to live according to the standards of the LDS faith and I know that without it, I could not be as happy as I am now. The Gospel brings hope, even when this life gets hard. I know this gospel brings light into my life, and that it has made me a better person, friend, sister, and daughter. I am forever grateful for the gift of this gospel.

How I live my faith

I try to look for opportunities in my community to serve others and uplift those around me. I live my faith by attending church meetings and working to fulfill my calling. Because I attend a religious university, there are plenty of opportunities for me to learn more about the LDS faith and strengthen my own beliefs. I love listening to talks from apostles and prophets, as well as attending the temple.
