Hi I'm Reagan Risk

I was raised in Southern California. I attend Brigham Young University as a Recreation Management Major. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in Southern California, from a young age I was always involved with different types of water sports. I've been swimming practically all my life, and in middle school I became involved with Water Polo. I've also decided to serve an 18 month mission for the Mormon Church at the end of my freshman year. I will be serving in the Adriatic South Mission, speaking Albanian. I will be serving from May 2016-November 2017.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon Church, but at the age of 12 my father started having me learn about different churches. Now this might sound strange, but he sincerely wanted me to come to a knowledge of the truth of this church. After several years of learning about other religions and reading the Book of Mormon and praying I discovered something. I realized that the Mormon Church taught was true and the Book of Mormon was divinely inspired. I also came to a knowledge that Heavenly Father truly does answer our prayers; not in our own time, but when we are ready to receive the knowledge he has to offer.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church meetings every Sunday, and visiting the various ladies in my church community. It has been a joy meeting at least once with the women in my church, and just talking and catching up on our lives. Additionally, I sincerely try to pray to my Heavenly Father and read and study my scriptures on a daily basis. I also try to apply and live the lessons I learn in church in my life. As I read about the life of Jesus Christ and study his ministry; I’ve decided to try and be like him and live like he did.
