Hi I'm Marie

I have four little brothers and one little sister. I want to be an artist. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love to draw, dance, and sing. I like writing stories and I love reading. I'm going to college at BYU Idaho and it's AWESOME! Getting here wasn't a cake-walk, though; I worked 40 hour weeks as a waitress at Waffle House from the middle of my junior year of high school to six months after I graduated, taking on two more jobs in the summer. I am so glad I had that experience! It really toughened me up.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. I am a Mormon because I truly believe that this is the true church. God's grace is sufficient to deliver us out of the bondage of sin. His strength and power will always be my foundation, or the rock on which I build. My parents divorced when I was seven. My faith got me through that, the hardest time in my life. Even though I was hurt, I knew that God had a plan for me. I had faith that God would take care of me, my little brother, and my Dad.

How I live my faith

I serve as Assistant Ward Chorister. That means I lead the music on the days the Ward Chorister isn't there. I also visit two wonderful sisters in the ward along with my visiting teaching companion. I live my faith by applying grace to my life every day. You see, God's Grace is continuous. Because Jesus suffered the Atonement, we are given the opportunity to repent of our sins and Come unto Christ.
