Hi I'm Tyler

from Ohio, West Virginia, Idaho, Alaska....now I'm serving a mission in New York! what a great new adventure! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As of March 30th, 2016 I will be serving an 18 month mission! I'm into snowboards, fourwheelers, painting, the arts in general, theatrics, food, and action movies. I love music of nearly every genre and if you read this I hope you have a nice day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and plan to raise a future family with this gospel. With so much moral instability in the world it is a comfort to know that there is a plan for us and a guiding light to follow. Obeying the teachings and counsels of the prophets and leaders of the church has never disappointed and has only blessed my life and grown my testimony of modern revelation and prophets. I am glad to know that I have a Savior who loves me and wants what's best for me and that I can always go to him in prayer.

How I live my faith

I'm young but I've had many callings in the church including presidency in youth groups and the important call to visit, teach, and help other sisters in the ward. I live my faith by constantly striving to be like our perfect brother and example. I'm in no ways perfect but I know Heavenly Father and Jesus know what is in our hearts so it's the effort that counts.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Tyler
One of the great goals of Mormons as individuals is to follow the example of Christ. The savior helped Anyone in need because he recognized that each and every one of us is a child of God. It is asked of us to help anyone in need of help, bear one another's burdens, and love our neighbors. It was interesting for me to learn just exactly how much the church spends on humanitarian aid for hundreds of countries. The church is an incredible support system not only for its immediate members, but for every son and daughter of god who seeks a helping hand. Show more Show less
