Hi I'm Lexi Longson

I grew up in Utah. I am a freshman at Brigham Young University. Im a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be outdoors and in the water. My favorite activities include surfing, wake boarding, boating, hiking, camping, and swimming. I attend Brigham Young University and I am loving it. I love to be with good company and places where good conversation is facilitated. I have always been heavily involved in sports and played on athletic teams in basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, and participated on a competitive tumbling team. I love to watch movies and read. I have a large desire to travel and see the world in my lifetime. I want to have a family and be a mother someday and I hope to find joy and happiness in my future family as well. The beach is my absolute favorite place to be and I love to do any type of water sport.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in everything that Jesus Christ is, was, and teaches me to be. He is the perfect example and definition of selfless love and everyday I learn how to love more wholly because of Him. I find the most satisfaction and accomplishment in the relationships that I develop in my life and I have come to find in my life that as I love others, they love me as well. The savior encompassed the most raw and real form of love and as I strive to incorporate this in my everyday life, I find my life to be filled with meaning and purpose. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints promotes love. If I have so much love for my fellow brothers and sisters, I can only imagine the amount of love my Savior and Heavenly Father have for me. I know that they love me;with that love and the knowledge of this church I have increasingly become- day by day- the person I want to be.

How I live my faith

I like to live my faith by serving others. I find that when I focus on other people over myself, that is when I find the most joy. I like to develop relationships with others by showing my love and support and helping them in any way they need. I try to emulate Christ in my every day actions and through Visit Teaching the girls in my ward, I have grown to love them in the way I would imagine Jesus Christ to love me. That is why service is such an integral part of my faith; as I serve more and more I come to love God's children in new and spectacular ways that i never imagined possible.
