Hi I'm Bethany Irwin

I love traveling, art, sports, and spending time with family. I am an International Business student at BYU, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love traveling. Simply said, I love to go places and see things, and I do it often. I have always loved to play sports, though I can say that I am definitely better at spectating than playing! I attend Brigham Young University, where I am seeking a degree in International Business. Someday I would love to start a non-profit organization, or aid in International Development. I love going to the beach, spending time with my family, and eating all sorts of foods, especially curry. I have come to love drawing and painting, and find myself doing art often. I am originally from Utah, but I am currently serving as a full-time missionary in Columbia, South Carolina! I have an endearing love for people, and love to meet and learn more about others. I have a strong testimony of the Book of Mormon, and of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and love to live my faith through sharing hope in the light of Christ and his divine love for each of us.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because it brings me such happiness and joy. I am a Mormon, because I know that our Savior, Jesus Christ has a plan for every single one of us. I know that we can have hope through the Savior, and that brings me such peace. I am a Mormon because I want to be with my family forever, and in doing so, I will be. I am a Mormon because I have come to witness and know of a surety that God wants each of us to return to Him. I have been so blessed and strengthened as I have been a member of this Church. I am a Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and I am a Mormon because it brings me incomparable joy.

How I live my faith

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I live my faith in several aspects of my life. As a student at Brigham Young University, I am given the opportunity to attend church meetings, as well as participate in Young Single adult activities, and participate in various service projects, particularly as a member of the Service committee for my ward. I love finding opportunities to serve friends and those around me. As a full-time missionary, I am given the opportunity to visit and get to know people each and every day, and share with them a brief message about Jesus Christ, the principles of his gospel, and about service, love, charity, and other related topics. I live my faith by serving others, and helping share the love that Jesus Christ has for everyone. I have found that it is easiest to live my faith by remembering that we are all children of a loving Heavenly Father. I hope each day that there is some life that I can touch, because there is always room for my to give of myself. I renew my faith by studying the Bible and the Book of Mormon, by praying each day, and by working towards my goal of learning and knowing our Savior, Jesus Christ.
