Hi I'm Carson

I grew up in most of the Northwest United States. I am the oldest of one other brother and four sisters. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am extremely passionate about history and all things baffling. I am hoping that after my mission is over that I can go to the Army branch of the military and work to become an Army Ranger and if I make it to there I may even go further to special forces or Green Beret. And if I get that I may just keep on going until I can get as high up as I possibly can. And while I'm doing that I'm hoping to get college done with the help of the GI Bill so my schooling will be free. I love to read. I can read a 500 page book in one day easily. I'm still looking for the right girl to come my way and I'm hoping it won't be long.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of many reasons. But there are three main ones, the first being that even though I have been raised in the church I have investigated other churches as well to see if they had as much merit as this church does but I could not find any that had the same amount of commitment to the ways the old church was organized and how they passed on the keys of the priesthood. Secondly no other church is more steadfast in its standards than ours. Even when gay marriage was made legal our church made a clear statement that there were to be absolutely no LGBT marriages conducted by any priesthood holders of this church or face severe consequences. And thirdly, when I participate in a group activity or spiritual activity with the youth and adult members or when I bear my testimony there is just a feeling of hope and happiness that overwhelms me to the point of tears of joy and I just feel happiness swell inside of my chest and its a feeling I cannot deny and I only ever feel it in the presence of the Lord's influence.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending Sunday services as often as I can, keeping a healthy and positive attitude around my siblings and family. I need more work on praying and reading the scriptures every day but I'm getting there. I'm preparing to become a missionary so hopefully I will be able to better myself while in the mission field.
