Hi I'm Christopher Larsen

I love T-Swift, I think I can dance pretty well, I am a runner and tuba player, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey, I am Chris. I am currently serving a mission in Maine speaking French (March 2016 - March 2018). I love serving! I joined the Track and Cross Country team, Science club, Key Club, HOSA, volleyball, and Frisbee Club in high school. Before leaving on a mission I attended a year at the University of Utah and plan on studying medicine to hopefully become an ED doctor. I am a medical assistant and worked in a Family Practice clinic, helping newborn babies, children, adults, and senior citizens. I was able to receive the rank of Eagle Scout shortly, very shortly, before my 18th birthday. I thoroughly enjoy hiking, climbing, camping and trying anything that might sound crazy or new. I am almost always jamming out to Taylor Swift or watching/reading Harry Potter.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this faith, but I didn't just stick with it because it is what I am familiar with. I have gained all the knowledge I have through thoughtful study and prayer, which has lead to those feelings that only the Holy Ghost can bring. I have challenges, and I work through them as I put my faith in Jesus Christ. I have come to learn that weaknesses lead us to lean upon the One that has overcome all. I know that living gospel standards helps guide us to Christ and brings that true happiness talked about in the scriptures.

How I live my faith

I love to attend church and any church events possible. I am always working hard to serve God and Jesus Christ by following Christ's example to become an effective servant of our Heavenly Father. I strive to always be in tune with the promptings of the Holy Ghost and live worthy to hear them. I also strive to live worthy of the Preisthood so that I may bless the lives of those around me and prepare to bless my future family as a worthy husband and father. Family is a main focus of my life. As I serve the Lord, I hope to bring other families the joy and peace in knowing that families can be together forever; I also hope to help others to recognize and to feel Christ's love for them. I am always open to answer questions about myself or the gospel, and I am constantly on the hunt to find ways to serve those around me.
