Hi I'm Ashley

I am from the great state of Texas. Called to Serve in the Germany, Frankfurt mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just completed my first year of school as a student at Brigham Young University, but now am preparing to to serve an 18 month mission in Frankfurt, Germany. I am the second oldest of 4; all of whom are girls. I love my family and the home I was raised in. I strongly believe there is no better place to grow up than Texas. I love everything about they sky. Whether it is a sunrise, clear blue, full of clouds, or sunset; I most likely have a picture of it. Pictures of clouds however are my favorite, it fascinates me how beautiful and different the sky looks every day. I am a musical junkie and think cats are the most adorable animal in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

In my High School, I was one of the two Mormons in my graduating class. I wouldn't have had it any other way. I have been Mormon my whole life and have loved how it made me stand out among my friends. There was never a time growing up that I felt like I had to lower my standards or values to fit in among the crowd. People knew who I was and what I stood for and no one tired to make me compromise my beliefs. I believe that is because I made it clear from the early years of my youth to make it clear to people the type of person I am. There is no greater joy or peace I get than from the gospel and truth of my church. The things I have learned and been taught since I was a child have shaped and molded me into the person I am today. The gospel of Christ has been there to strengthen me and guide me in the darkest times of my life. I have asked for confirmation to know if this church is true or not and know with 100% certainty that it is. I am Mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sticking to the principles that I have been taught throughout my life. I do my best to follow the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know I am not perfect and make mistakes, but as long as I stick to His path and do my best to become more like Him; it will be enough.
