Hi I'm Kayla

I've lived in Rexburg, Idaho since I was about five. I'm a student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently going to college as an art major. I like how art can change people's perspective or uplift them in some way because of aesthetic principles. I like movies, books, and games, and I love experiencing these with others. I like learning from other people even though I can be shy. However, I have recently discovered that I really like ballroom social dance as well.

Why I am a Mormon

One of the beliefs that we have is that God, our Heavenly Father, wants us to progress and develop our potential, and because we are His children, we have infinite potential. We can become like Him, and Jesus Christ opened the way for us to do that, by being our leader, exemplar, and brother. I believe in that potential, and I believe that truth will always align with anything that follow the principles taught by Jesus Christ, and that truth in this gospel will be truth in other areas of life. I believe it to be the path that can lead me to my highest potential, being like God and being with Him, and that I hope I can learn to help and love others along the way.

How I live my faith

I try to live what I believe by reading the Holy Bible, the Book of Mormon, and any other revelation and advice from prophets, living or dead. Truth can be found in many places, and I think that the sciences and arts can be holy. I also attend church, and try to treat everyone with kindness and consideration, anything that would be advisable under the teachings of Christ. I try to improve in these areas, and little things go a long way.
