Hi I'm Logan

I grew up in California, I'm a physics student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with a horse and chickens in the yard, I like country music and I've wrestled my whole life. However I've also competed in Academic Decathlon, I started my high school chess club, and I got a perfect 36 on the ACT. I have four older siblings and one younger sister, and I love playing with my baby nieces and nephews. I'm now a freshman in college studying physics, because I love understanding the mysteries of the universe.

Why I am a Mormon

My religion helps me make sense of life. Life often seems chaotic and even purposeless, but the gospel of Jesus Christ presents a big-picture plan for eternity. We are here to gain experience and learn how to make decisions for ourselves, but we all inevitably make mistakes. The Atonement of Jesus Christ gives us all second chances whenever we are willing to change. Because of the Atonement of Christ and love of God, our Heavenly Father, we all have the opportunity to succeed and return to live with God in happiness.

How I live my faith

My religion has always been an important part of my life. The moral principles I live by prompt me to serve others and put forth my best effort in every activity. I've served as a youth leader in or young men's group and spent countless hours in Sunday school. I help visit the members of our congregation and periodically check on their well-being, an activity we call "home teaching". I am now serving a full-time proselyting mission in Peru, taking two years away from college to serve and teach the truths I live by.
