Hi I'm Halston

I'm 18 years old. I love to express unconditional kindness to everyone around me, to be more like my Savior. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in South Carolina, and I am a freshman at BYU. I love laughing and having a good time with friends, and I also love to go on adventures and explore the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this church is His church. I know this because following his counsel and gospel has never once led me astray, and it has only brought me happiness. I love how much this church is actively involved in goodness and raising up others. We seek to do good in the world and if there is anything virtuous, lovely, of good report, or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

How I live my faith

In the words of Cinderella, I exercise courage and kindness. I look at the world as it can be. I believe this kind of service can not just change people around you, but can change yourself.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints encourages the members to follow the commandments that are divinely given to us. We believe in the 10 commandments, but we also believe that our prophet receives new revelation and counsel from the Lord. LDS members follow this counsel by being Christ-like in all our endeavors. We are examples and we show love to everybody. We go to church every Sunday, and we believe in living a pure life by taking care of our bodies. By doing this, we avoid drinking coffee or tea, and we avoid cigarettes or any other substances that wear down our bodies. Show more Show less
