Hi I'm Nolan

I was born in Oklahoma, I've lived in four states, I love music, tennis, and 3D design, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Oklahoma, and I grew up in Wyoming, Nevada, and Utah. I am the second of five children and I love spending time with my family and my friends. I love playing the piano, and I love playing the saxophone, especially jazz. I also enjoy playing tennis, mountain biking, paintballing, and basketball. I have also developed an interest in the field of 3D design; I love the process of turning my ideas into reality, and I plan on studying industrial design and mechanical engineering at college in a few years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this church is true. I've never had a huge miracle or anything like that to build my testimony, but not a day has gone by in my life that I have not experienced the influence and love of my father in heaven, and that means more to me than any miracle ever could. This gospel has brought me peace and comfort through my trials, and I've witnessed and experienced the power that it has to set a life on course for good. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is a Church of hope. I wouldn't be able to keep going in my life without the hope that it provides. Nobody in this life is perfect, but living by this gospel has set me on the course and given me hope that someday I can achieve that with the help of Jesus Christ. I love this gospel with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I am an active member of my ward priests quorum. We frequently participate in activities from service projects to basketball. I enjoy learning the gospel and I take every opportunity I can to learn more. I attend church every Sunday and I love participating in seminary at my high school. I have served as a first counselor in both my deacons and teachers quorums, helping to organize activities and coordinate the completion of responsibilities. I always try to be an example of what I believe wherever I am. At school, at work, and wherever I go, I try to make it clear that I have a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through my words and actions. I recently received a call to serve a mission in Chile starting this summer. I can't wait to dedicate my life to sharing this gospel because I know of the joy that it can bring to the lives of those who accept it.
