Hi I'm Brylee Sage

I am a dream seeker and a goal completer. I am a Mormon

About Me

I love to accomplish my goals in life. If I set a goal for myself I will complete it. I created a Film Festival with my best friend, where we live, and it was a huge success. I love film, and movies. I love people and I love talking to others about there lives. Traveling the world is my dream. I love all of the different cultures and the new things I can learn from the many different people I meet. I am a student in college and I am working hard to get into nursing school. I work as a Certified Nursing Assistant, doing Home Health Care. I am very family oriented, and I am a family history consultant In my Ward. Family History is so amazing to me, and the fact I get to learn more about my ancestors is such a blessing. I adore animals, and I currently own a pug named Chloe. I like to pretend that I am a pretty crafty person, but I will leave that up to others to decide. I like to cook, sew, sing, and spend time with those I love. I love my life, and I wouldn't change a thing in it. I seem to always be laughing at something, and I feel even happier if I can make others happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a sure faith and testimony that this is the true church. I am not a Mormon because I was born into a family who are members, But I am a Mormon because I have been given a witness, time and time again that the teachings of this church are true. The first time in my life I knew that this church was true, was when I was a freshmen in High school. I wish I could say I was always sure, but it wasn't until that moment, I was completely sure. I remember feeling like I was alone in this world and that know one would even notice, or care, if I were to go away forever. I remember feeling so depressed and unhappy with my life. However one night I decided to get on my knees and pray to God, and asked him if he was there. I asked him if he really did know me and cared about me. I do not know how to describe the feeling I felt, but It was like I was over come with love, and my heart felt light. It felt like I was being surrounded with joy. At this moment I knew that God, our Heavenly Father, was real. I knew because I felt him there with me. I have feel Heavenly Father with me every time I am sad, and even when I am happy. Another experience I would like to share with you is when I learned how to do my family history. As soon as I started to learn how to do my family history I felt like I couldn't stop. I worked for 9 hours straight the first day I started. I felt so much love for every person I found, my heart felt so full. One afternoon I was working on my fathers line and I came across a man who it showed has a child but no wife. I searched on about every family history site I could find, but I couldn't find his wife anywhere. After a week of searching for her, I still was left with nothing, and I decided to pray and ask for guidance. Not even a minute after I found one record, and I found her name. I started to bawl like a baby because I knew for a fact that I had found her. not only did I find her but I found all seven of her children.

How I live my faith

My faith in this church is the reason I live my life like I do. My end goal in life is to live worthy enough to return to our Heavenly Father. I grew up in this church with two parents who taught me to go to church every Sunday, and to love everyone for who they are. I learned from a young age that no one is perfect, but we should work hard everyday to try and live like Christ did. I show my faith by showing others my love for them. I have found I feel the closest to Christ when I serve others. When you open your heart to others, and forget yourself, you are able to really feel the love of Christ. Every single person in this world has the light of Christ in them, and the light of Christ is knowing if something is right or wrong. I believe that when we follow that light we are living in faith.
