Hi I'm Sadie

I'm a wife, a student, a custodian, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time college student, a full time wife, and a part time early morning custodian. I love music, eating, reading, and taking naps. There have been times in my life when I've felt very alone and because of that I love meeting people and making friends and making sure that the people around me don't feel left out or ignored. I love to smile because I have learned that while frowning may be easy, a simple smile has the power to change a person, a situation, and even the world. I love kids because they teach me about life, love, and humility. I love reading books because they allow me to be a part of different lives and different worlds. And finally, and most importantly, I love my husband, who is my High School Sweetheart, and the brightest light in my life next to the Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings me more happiness and fulfillment than anything else life has to offer. I have seen people leave my faith, others stay as far from it as possible, and it has made me call into question why I choose the pathway that I have my whole life. It is through this questioning that I came to know that God loves me. He loves each and every person, because He made them. I have learned that while following the commandments and doing the things that the Lord has asked me to do often goes against what the world thinks I should do, and even what I think I should do, it always, without fail, makes me happy, keeps me safe, and reminds me that I'm loved and treasured.

How I live my faith

Through the process of trial and error, I have learned first hand that living my faith is the only path in life that leads to me feeling fulfilled, peaceful, and joyous. Through praying each morning and night, and sometimes more during the day, I have come to know that I have a Father in Heaven who knows me, who loves me, and who cares just as much about me understanding my math class as he does my eternal happiness. Through attending church each Sunday I find strength and support through the Lord and through my ward members that helps sustain me through each week.
