Hi I'm Ben

I live in Cache Valley Utah, I enjoy engineering and technology, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Some of my hobbies include: building robots, building model rockets, and playing board games. I plan to go to college and study engineering. I also am interested in the outdoors, and enjoy taking hikes, camping and going fishing. I also enjoy music and play the piano and organ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and grew up loving it. I can't tell precisely when I knew that this church was true, but I know it to be a fact. As I have grown in years, my testimony has also grown. I know that our Heavenly Father loves us and wants the best for all of us. That is why He sent this gospel to the earth so that we may live it and have joy. I know this to be true. I have found joy and comfort by living His gospel throughout my life, in good times and bad. I know that Heavenly Father loves me and sent his Son, Jesus Christ as a sacrifice so that I could live with Him again.

How I live my faith

I participate in church weekly and enjoy the time I spend there. I was a ward organist and played in church frequently. I also try to actively engage myself in my faith throughout my week by participating in service projects, and other faith building activities. I am currently serving a full time mission in Tokyo South Japan to spread this happy message to the world.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

The Lord has taught that we should go forth and preach the gospel. Being a missionary is one way that we can show the Lord our commitment to teach His gospel to others. Serving a mission is entirely voluntary and it is up to the individual whether to serve or not. However, I know that many blessings come from preparing to and serving a mission. I has brought me great joy and I am glad that I made the choice to serve a mission. Show more Show less
