Hi I'm Michaela

I'm a current college student who loves to smile and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Montana, which is one of my most favorite places on Earth. I absolutely love the mountains, valleys, and wildlife that you see anywhere you go. I am currently a college student, and loving every minute of it. I love just about anything a college student loves. My friends, my family, my two dogs, my roommates. I also like to attend college sporting events, especially football games. I consider myself very lucky to be able to gain an education so I strive to make the most of it!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my entire life, and I love it. I feel extremely blessed to have been a member my whole life. This gospel has brought so much good into my life and I honestly don't know what I would do, or where I would be without it. From my time in the church I have a gained a testimony of so many great things and have gained so many great experiences as well. I am who I am because of this church, and for that I will be forever grateful. I am a Mormon because I know that this is the true church and the path that I need to be following. I know that God has a plan for me and that I can fulfill that plan by living through the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that God has given us both the bible and the Book of Mormon for guidance in our day as well. I also know that God has also blessed us to have a current day prophet on the Earth today. I know God loves each and every one of us and I can't wait to spread that love as I embark on my mission.

How I live my faith

I am currently in a group leader for family home evening activities. This means that I am in charge of planning fun, service oriented activities for me and my group to do every Monday night. I absolutely love my group and we have become like a family since the start of college. Currently, I am preparing to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to further spread the gospel. I am excited for this new opportunity to share the gospel I love so much.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Families are at the epicenter of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Families learn and grow in the gospel together. Homes are meant as a place of refuge and as a place to learn Christ's teachings and develop Christlike attributes. Family is so incredibly important. In fact, Mormons believe that families are for eternity. This means that we are able to be with the people we love for forever and ever. This is done by sealing families together in a temple. The concept of eternal families can give great comfort to those who have lost loved ones. Our church believes that we will be able to be reunited with our whole family again someday. I know that eternal families are part of God's and I feel very blessed to be able to be with my whole family for all of eternity. I love them so much and it means so much to me that I will be able to be together with my mom, dad, siblings, and my own future family forever. Show more Show less
