Hi I'm Kerry Stuart

After 38 years of marriage I am now a widow. I have eight children and 33 grandchildren. I am a Mormon and life is good!

About Me

I have lived in many places and enjoy meeting people. I do a lot of grandmother kinds of things and enjoy my family. When we all get together there are 50 of us. It's a lot of fun. I love to be active by playing with the grandkids, taking walks, riding bikes and playing games. Picnics are fun and being outside is great. I love family history and try to discover new things about my ancestors. I learned to speak Spanish when I served as a missionary in Argentina. I really enjoy life.

Why I am a Mormon

Living in this world can be difficult at times. Prayer has helped me find a good and safe path as I have progressed through many of life challenges. The scriptures have helped me be stable and have hope. The words of living prophets have challenged me to keep trying, not give up and enjoy each stage of life with all their wonders. Associating with other members has been a great blessing to me. I have been strengthened by the love and good examples of others who are trying to follow the example of the Savior. My church membership has provided me with adventures, growth and joy. Being a part of something real and good has blessed my life with love, faith and hope. I can't imagine not being a member.

How I live my faith

I love the scriptures and I have read the Bible and the Book of Mormon several times. I love that people took the time to record their experiences for us to enjoy. I try to write in my journal often so I can share my life experiences with my family and friends. I like being with my family and others that I love. Because I have lived in many places I feel that I have friends around the world. Serving others is the best way to get to know people and grow to love them. I have been a part of quilting groups and book clubs. I have helped in schools because I love to be with the children. The church has provided me with many ways to serve and be a part of good works.
