Hi I'm Kirsti

I am a missionary. I'm a ginger. I'm a daughter of God, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am currently serving a Spanish speaking mission for my Savior Jesus Christ, and I love it! Before my mission, I was attending a university away from home, studying Spanish teaching. I learned Spanish in school, so I was super excited to open my mission call and see that I get to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in Spanish as well! I am so happy to have the opportunity to share a message that means a lot to me with the world. In school, I was in a jazz combo group, where I played the piano. I was a debater in high school, and I won the state title in both of my events my senior year. I am so grateful for the hand of the Lord in every part of my life. I can feel His guidance and direction in all I do.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is established by God. I feel peace and joy in my heart when I listen to our prophet speak, and when I pray to my Heavenly Father to know about what I should do with my life. I can feel His love, and I know he cares about me and everyone else. He always answers my prayers, and I see so many small miracles everyday. They are always there, but sometimes we just are not paying enough attention to find them.

How I live my faith

I try to make my religion a part of everything I do. If I really believe that my Savior lives, loves me, and atoned for me, I should try to make that knowledge evident in all of my actions. This understanding is part of why I am so excited to serve a mission. For eighteen months, I get to leave all my schooling, friends, and family behind to teach people about Jesus Christ and how to grow nearer to Him.
