Hi I'm Savannah

I love color guard, playing the flute, being creative, and eating fried pickles! And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life and I love to have fun! I'm a sophomore in college, studying to become an elementary teacher. (I love adorable little children!) I perform on a color guard team, play the flute, and I love music! I enjoy hiking, camping, attempting (and usually failing) to do water sports, and lots of other outdoor activities. You can typically find me reading a good book, telling a corny joke, dancing, spending time with my family, or playing with my dog.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I find complete happiness in living the principles taught in this church. Knowing that we are all children of a Heavenly Father who loves us so much, and that He has a plan and a purpose for all of us here on this earth is so comforting and encouraging. I know that He gave us our families to find joy, and that through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we can be with our families for forever! I LOVE my family so much and I could not imagine life without them. I know that Jesus Christ lived and set an example for how we should live our lives, and that helps me know my purpose and the direction I should take my life. I know that He died for us, and that it was a merciful act that opened up so many possibilities that would not exist without Him. He knows our pains and our struggles, and He will help us through everything if we accept His help. I make so many mistakes, but the good news about this gospel is that because of Jesus Christ, we can try again! He helps us become better people, and we are strengthened through the difficulties of life as we rely on His power to heal and change us. This church has changed me so much for the better! The knowledge and power found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints strengthens me, heals me, comforts me, inspires me, and upholds me.

How I live my faith

I am about to leave for California to serve as a missionary for 18 months. I will be teaching about my faith and what makes me happy, and serving and loving all those I meet. In the past, I have served as a leader in my Sunday School and other church classes, in which I have tried to serve and be an example to my fellow class members.
