Hi I'm Tyler

I grew up in the U.S. I love to work hard. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in the Yakima valley since birth, and most of my extended family lives in the area as well. A lot of my time is spent working on my grandparents farm, although I had a job at the City's Memorial Hospital until I decided to serve a mission for my church. I leave for the mission field in may of 2016.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is were I belong. I love to participate in the church activities with the other members. I follow the gospel because it makes me feel loved and at home. I hope that others will be able to find the warmth that I found.

How I live my faith

When I was a youth of the church i often had part in the leadership group that led the rest of the youth. this was something i loved because i loved to spend time the others in planned activities and special activities. Now i will go and serve a mission for the church.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

The missionaries share about beliefs of the church including the first vision in which a young boy by the name of Joseph Smith(1820) went to pray unto the Lord in a grove of trees asking which church he should join. In answer to his prayer God the Father of mankind and his Son Jesus Christ appeared and told to not join any of them. That instead the true church of the Lord would be restored through him in the years to come. Missionaries also share other topics such as the restoration of the church and the Atonement of Christ Show more Show less
