Hi I'm Kaylee

I've lived in Utah all my life. I leave in March to serve an LDS mission in Milan, Italy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah! I went to high school at Copper Hills. I was on Dance Company for 3 years, and was an officer my senior year. I took many AP and Honors courses, and participated in various clubs. I was the Dance Sterling Scholar for Copper Hills. Fall of 2015, I started my first semester of college at the University of Utah. Currently, I am preparing to leave on a mission to Milan Italy, and I couldn't be more excited! I love reading, netflixing, and long walks to the fridge ;)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My parents raised me as a Mormon. However, I have truly chosen this religion for myself! I've felt the Holy Ghost witness to me that this is the true church. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior, and the Son of God. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet, and that Thomas S. Monson is God's prophet on the earth today. I know that the Book of Mormon contains the true teachings of God, and that it is a witness of Jesus Christ. I know this, because I've read it cover to cover multiple times. I know that through Christ's atonement, we can be comforted and made clean, and that we can make it back to live with our Heavenly Father. I know these things firsthand; different experiences and trials in my life have taught me of these sure principals. I know and love this Gospel, and am so blessed and excited to share it with others on my mission :)

How I live my faith

I'm so blessed to have had the opportunity to serve within the community and our church. As a youth, I had the opportunity to be on the "Youth Committee" of my church's stake and ward for two years. As a part of this, I helped organize activities, a week-long pioneer trek, and a week-long youth conference at Snow College. Last year, I was called to serve in my ward's nursery, and I loved that experience! This past November, I received my mission call to the Italy Milan mission. I will leave on my mission this March, and am so excited to serve, and act as a representative of our church for 18 months!!
