Hi I'm John

I grew up in Utah, USA. I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student from the United States, and I am studying Engineering. I love engineering, botany, permaculture and gardening, skiing, dancing, reading, swimming, triathlons, hiking and enjoying each day with my family. I want to learn new things throughout my entire life. The best part of my life is that I have a wonderful family who I love and who love me. The revealed gospel of Jesus Christ has been a central part of improving and deepening our relationships with each other day by day.

Why I am a Mormon

I have prayed to know for myself that this is the Church of Jesus Christ, and I know now that it is true by the power of the holy ghost. Moroni 10:3-5. I also receive a new witness every day as I study the scriptures, pray and try to follow Christ and His prophets. John 7:17 As I try to live what I learn by the Gospel, I have received more joy, peace of heart, love and grace than I feel I could deserve. But I know God loves me, and by keeping His Gospel and my promises to Him, I have become a better, and happier, person. I know everyone can have this from God, so I am a Missionary so that I can be His hand in spreading the joy of His Gospel.

How I live my faith

I am trying to first live and then share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am currently a full time missionary for the church. I am leaving my home and family and occupations for two years so that I can give my life over to the Lord and share with other people the same truth that has made me happy. That truth is that God is the Father of our spirits and loves us each as His children and that he knows us individually, by name. God has restored His church with prophets and apostles who lead the church. I know that Jesus Christ leads His church today and that we can each receive guidance from Christ as we pray.
