Hi I'm Tom

Hi, I'm Tom. I'm a retired attorney. I was a prosecutor in the District Attorney's office and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and have five grown children plus one Japanese son who is not officially adopted but is like a son to me. I have 18 grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren. I have been married to my sweetheart Joyce for 62 years. I love to read and I love camping, hunting, fishing and the outdoors and old western movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because living my religion has brought me great joy and happiness and peace in my life. I have seen how this religion has blessed other people's lives.

How I live my faith

I have served twice as a Bishop of an LDS ward for a total of 15 years. I have continued to serve in other capacities throughout my entire life. I love teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and have done so for many, many years. I do that because I believe and know that Christ lives and loves us all!

What is the purpose of the welfare services of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Tom
My wife and I served a mission as volunteers for one year in the welfare employment services helping people find new jobs. We taught classes helping people make resume's and obtain jobs. We were able to see many people obtain jobs and become self reliant. I know the Lord blesses us when we try to do and be our best. Show more Show less
