Hi I'm Fatma Luka

I am a immigrant from Africa, serving in the Tahiti Papeete Mission, I love my Savior, Jesus Christ, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am college student studying Psychology and hoping to minor in Arabic. I love to draw, read , and learn about different cultures and languages. I recently got my call to serve a full time mission in Tahiti Papeete.

Why I am a Mormon

When I first decided to become a member, I chose to do so because of my dad. I knew how much the church meant to him and but I wasn't really converted or seeking a relationship with my Heavenly Father. As I kept going to church, I begin to do the little things that drew me closer to God, like reading the scriptures with real intent and saying my prayers and really listening to Him, and because of my actions I have come to know of His love for me and His calling for me in life which is to be happy and serve Him by serving and loving my fellow beings

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every week and working on my callings as best as I can. One of my favorite callings I've had this last semester of college was Ward Missionary. This calling has allowed me to expand my horizons and better interact with the people in my ward. It has taught me to love them and want to serve them.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Fatma Luka
The Book of Mormon is another beautiful testimony of Christ and of His love for us. It is written for our day and it helps us draw closer to our Savior and know how to best use our time on this earth so that we can return to live with Him and our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
