Hi I'm Naomi

I grew up in Kerman, California. I am a drummer of 10 years I am a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in a small town outside of Fresno, California. I graduated from high school in 2012. I have been a drummer for 10 years. I did 2 years of college before I decided I wanted to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have 2 older sisters and 3 younger sisters. My mom is a member of the church but dad is Catholic, or so he says.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in a part member home wasn't as hard as some people think it is. My dad understands what we believe and he supports us 100 percent. He wants us to be happy and he knows the Gospel of Jesus Christ gives us the happiness we want. But I didn't always know this is what I wanted. In high school, I didn't have a strong testimony and I was only going through the motions of things. I knelt down and prayed and asked my Heavenly Father what should I do to gain a testimony of the restored gospel. I received my answer and was prompted to read the entire Book of Mormon. So I did. It took some time but I accomplished it. After reading, I knelt down again and prayed to know of The Book of Mormon was true. I received my answer. I know that this church is true. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God and he did restore Christ's church in it's fullness back to the earth.

How I live my faith

Right now I am living my faith by faithfully serving the Lord as a full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This means I left my family for 18 months to go somewhere in the world to share the gospel with those who have not had to opportunity to hear it.
