Hi I'm Jordan Hart

I am serving a mission in Orlando Florida! I am a Mormon.

About Me

I like long walks on the beach, and drinking pink lemonade from a bendy straw... preferably while on the beach. I like hiking and spontaneous adventures... preferably somewhere by the beach. Ok.. I just really like the beach. Like the feeling of sand between my toes and the salt air in my hair. Mhmm. The good life.. but I'm from Arizona. But that's me in a nut shell!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Let me tell you why I am a member of this amazing church. When I was 8 years old, I was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My parents moved to Arizona shortly after my baptism. Upon moving to Arizona, my parents went inactive, which made it so I was unable to attend church. I never went to the Mormon church much after that. I almost didn't know anything about this church. Besides a few things here and there. After I graduated high school I made the bold choice to move to Utah and attend school there. The reason for this choice was because I had this strong feeling that thats what I needed to do. I didn't really have a plan, all I knew was thats where I needed to be. When I got to Utah, I had another feeling that I needed to go check out church again. I didn't really want to listen to that feeling, but it never left my mind. So I reached out to my Mormon grandparents and asked if I could attend with them. When I went nothing really made me feel like I should keep going. My grandma suggested a young single adult ward. The day I went was fast and testimony meeting. Where this young man got up and bore the most touching and beautiful testimony. The spirit I felt was so strong. After that I made it a point to start going every Sunday. Shortly after, I made another bold decision to go talk to my bishop. In this talk, I confessed of all sins. The minute I walked out I felt as if a weight was lifted off my shoulders. I had never felt more happy. I then decided to read the Book of Mormon. At first it was very difficult to understand, but the more I read the more I understood and the more I knew of it's truthfulness. I made another bold decision as of late. To serve a mission. I have now been active in the church for a year and a half, and I have never felt more blessed and more happy in my entire life. This church is so true, and it truly is the plan of happiness.

How I live my faith

By being kind to everyone and being an example to people around me!
