Hi I'm Boyd

I grew up in Utah and served a mission in Ireland. I taught of Christ and found the love of my life there. What a beautiful world!

About Me

I'm a father, husband, son and grand dad. I am a serial entrepreneur (started several businesses). I have been a been a publisher of community newspapers, worked in telephones and computers and write both business articles and books as well as fiction for fun. I love my family and love to have a yearly vacation with them. I also love to spend time with my lovely wife.

Why I am a Mormon

While I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ, I gained a witness of the Gospel by kneeling and praying, just as the Lord wants all to receive it. It isn't about what I believe but what the holy spirit will tell you in your heart. I have that witness and I cannot and will not deny it. I testified of this to the people of Ireland and met many that listened and made changes in their lives. It was a blessing to me to serve the Lord in that way. Christ does live and loves each of us. He not only died for us but gave us an example to follow. I want to always be following him and he beckons to all to follow him. Come follow him! One of the things that has rung true to me is about families. We can be eternal families, if we follow the examples set for us and by going to a temple of the Lord and be married, not just for time but for all eternity. What a wonderful blessing this is and I hope to live worthy of this special blessing.

How I live my faith

I love to serve in our church. It is always when I am the teacher that i learn the most. But I also love to teach others what I have learned. I have lead others and followed the person in charge. It isn't about being the leader but serving our fellowmen. I love to help others and by following our Savior's example, I hope to help those that need my help. There are many that need help and are too proud to accept it. I love to find those and help them know that it is our Savior's plan that they too may be served and then they can serve others.
