Hi I'm Nichole Phelps

I grew up in Austin Texas. I aspire to be an artist and writer. I also wish to be a psychologist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently in college. I love to draw, paint and I have studied photography for three years. I participated in cross country for all four years of high school. However, in my junior year I was diagnosed with tendinitis in both my knees and in a race I also sprained one of my knees. I have been writing poetry, short stories and drafting a novel for he last four years.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in a family of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. However, in my family when it came time to be baptized my family encouraged me to choose for myself and find my own answer to decide whether or not to choose to be baptized and make the covenants that correspond with this action known as an ordinance. I have continued to follow His gospel because of the many experiences I have had to confirm not only the truth of the gospel, but that God knows and loves me individually as well as those who surround me.

How I live my faith

I visit and teach girls that go to the same ward as me. I am currently serving as a chorister for one of the three lessons we have during church meetings. I have been on the presidency for the group of 12 to 13 year-olds called the beehives and the 16 to 17 year-olds called laurels.
