Hi I'm Madeleine Wilson

I grew up in Toronto, Canada and am on my mission in Pocatello Idaho. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Brigham Young University-Hawaii and I love to swim, lay in the sun, and hike to waterfalls while I am there. At home I love to ride the subway and go to the many museums that we have! Right now, I am taking a break from my many adventures to go on a mission for the church. I have been assigned to the Pocatello Idaho mission and am excited to meet new people and share the gospel with them!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy! I believe that the plan of happiness that Heavenly Father has created for us is true and gives us purpose. I know that I am a child of God and that if I choose him every day that I will be able to live with Him again. I grew up in the gospel and these things that my parents have taught me are true and have been a crucial part in me being the person that I am today. For me, what makes being a member the best and easiest is that I know the Holy Ghost can always be with me. As I go through hard times, or have questions that I want to have answered, I know that I can always pray, read my scriptures, and that the Holy Ghost will manifest truths to me and guide me.

How I live my faith

For the past couple of months I have been teaching the 5-8 year olds every Sunday. I love to teach simple truths to kids who are always excited and full of energy. I also live my faith through obedience. I have always been taught that obedience brings blessing, but perfect obedience brings miracles. And who doesn't want miracles in their life? I love the energy and happiness that comes from living the gospel as best I can. As I try and be more Christ-like always I can always see how kindness and forgiveness makes life happier and easier for me and my loved ones.
