Hi I'm Alec

I was raised on a farm in the mountains in New England. I'm the General Manager of a 4-Star restaurant. I'm a Latter-Day Saint!

About Me

I love to work around the house with my wonderful wife. We are all about the "Do It Yourself" projects. I like snowboarding, hunting, fishing, hiking, and anything else I can do outside. I enjoy fixing things and learning how to do all sorts of different thinks. Jack of All Trades; Master of Nothing.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has brought true happiness to my life. When I started dating my (now) wife, I knew the "church thing" was important to her. Coming from a non-religious background I thought I'd give it a try. I had never read the bible, but she told me to start with the Book of Mormon. The day I opened the book, my garden, that I had just planted days earlier, exploded with life. Vegetables, Grasses, Weeds, you name it. As I continued to read, I saw my life begin to evolve in the most amazing ways. I was blessed with a better job, my health increased, and my ability to love another blossomed to a level that I cannot begin to describe. Because of the Restored Gospel, I have become, not only the man I want to be, but the man God intends me to be.

How I live my faith

Through daily prayer and continual study of the scriptures, my life has gained incredible peace. I am blessed with a calling to be a teacher to four different families in my branch. I am also a teacher for a class every Sunday. Being a teacher creates not so much the opportunity to teach, but to be in a constant state of learning. I am so grateful for everything my faith and my Father in Heaven have brought me.
