Hi I'm Allie

I grew up in Utah and Idaho. I love my family more than anything. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and just finished my first year of college. I am just about to serve an 18 month mission in Hamilton, New Zealand and I am so excited. I love my family more than I can say and am so grateful to have my sisters as my best friends. I also love to play basketball and other sports, hang out with my friends, and be outside. I love to laugh and to spend time with the people I love. I am especially grateful for the gospel in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings me true happiness and guidance in my life. Because of it, I know that God has a plan for me, that He is my best friend, and that He will always take care of me. I know that He loves me and knows me. I know the Savior died for me, and because of Him I can start over and change and become better every day. I know that if I do my best to live the way He has taught, I will be blessed and feel happiness that isn't just temporary. I also know that families can be together forever, and that to me is one of the greatest blessings God could have ever given me. I am so grateful for the knowledge of this gospel. I can't imagine my life without it, and I wouldn't give it up for anything.

How I live my faith

I really can't imagine living in this world without the peace, guidance and strength that comes from the gospel and from the gift of the Holy Ghost. Every day I try to live in a way so that I can have the Holy Ghost with me, to guide and comfort me so that I can do the things the Lord needs me to do. I read from the Book of Mormon and always find direction in my life from that. I know that it is the word of God, and is meant for me. I have also learned that everything happens to us for a reason and is for our good if we will turn to the Lord. Although I fall short every day, I live my faith by always trying to trust in God no matter what, follow His teachings, and show love to everyone around me.
