Hi I'm Holly

I grew up in the United States. I love to travel to see my grandchildren. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, a mother of four and a grandmother of thirteen children. I like to garden and to read and to write in my journal. I especially enjoy spending time with my family and my grandchildren. I love nature and enjoy being outdoors including walks in the nearby mountains.

Why I am a Mormon

As a child, I attended church with my siblings. I learned that Jesus loves me and that he has a plan for me. This knowledge was very important to me and lead me to search for more knowledge and understanding of the Savior's plan for me. I had the opportunity to attend a religion class in my early teens with my friends. We read and were taught from the Book of Mormon. This was the first time I had read the Book of Mormon myself. Every day as we read from the pages of the Book of Mormon my heart would be filled with peace and love to overflowing. This lead me to know that the teachings in the Book of Mormon were true and could bless my life forever. I have developed an increased love for the Savior and his teachings including the principle of repentance and the healing and enabling power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Through prayer and personal revelation I have come to know many more things including the reality that there is a living Prophet on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I am currently a Sunday School teacher to the youth. I have taught adults, young adults and youth in the principles of our faith. I have organized programs of compassionate service for the women in my community. It has been my pleasure to assist mothers and families in the challenges they face. In the very near future, I will have the opportunity to go with my husband to another country and assist the young single adults in developing faith in Jesus Christ.
