Hi I'm Abilee

I grew up in Idaho, am now attending college, and will soon depart for a mission to Argentina. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family of 12; six brothers and three sisters and my life growing up was a big, constant party. I am attending college now and just received my mission call to Argentina. I report in June and cannot wait to begin serving the Lord and the people in Argentina.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love this church and I love Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. Anytime I read the Book of Mormon, go to church, or pray to Heavenly Father, I am filled with peace. My life that may have been confusing previously, now is simple and makes sense. I have chosen to be a member of Christ's Church because it makes me very happy and provides purpose in my life.

How I live my faith

I live by faith by going to church each week and trying to live in a way that would make Heavenly Father happy. I serve at church by playing the piano for the others that attend there. Music brings people closer together. Soon, I will live my faith by going on a mission to Argentina to share this gospel with others.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Family is the central part to Heavenly Father's plan for us, as His children. Because of this, families need not just last for this life, but can last for eternity. Mormon's believe that as families and individual family members choose to center their lives around Christ and His gospel, they grow closer together and can, ultimately, be together after this life in heaven, forever.
