Hi I'm Kristin

Wife. Mother. Artist. Cancer survivor. Determined to be a miracle. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother, wife, artist, and cancer survivor. I'm currently fighting a second cancer--a nasty terminal brain cancer called glioblastoma.

Why I am a Mormon

Life is uncertain. It is easy to get lost in the darkness and despair. To me, courage is the choice to have faith in Christ and His promises. That faith gives us direction and lights the way through darkness, despair, and shattered dreams. I didn't expect to hear the words "you have cancer" as a teenager. I definitely didn't expect to hear those words again while holding my newborn son. A terminal illness now fills my days with uncertainty. But my faith in Christ gives me the strength to not only endure, but to hope. I have learned to trust Him and His plans for me. I can't imagine a single day without the guidance and perspective of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Without the promises I have received, I would be lost and bitter. I am so grateful for the testimony I have of the Savior. In Him I am made whole. No tear is forgotten. No promise unfulfilled.

How I live my faith

I look forward to every day with hope. I live with the determination to be a miracle. I change a lot of diapers.
