Hi I'm Maddy

I was born in the US, lived in Russia, then came back. Now I'm a college student. Soon I'll be a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student without a major. I love books, language, history puns, and Netflix (because of the whole college student thing). I'm kind of into graphic design, too. My dad is a geek and passed it on to me. Most of all, I'm excited to be a missionary soon!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church, and I've always known it is true. Since my parents first taught me to pray, I have felt my Heavenly Father and Savior's love for me and for those around me. As my life has progressed, I've understood more of the gospel and needed it more and more. My Savior is there for me through the good and the bad - be it acceptance letters and mission calls or diagnoses and trials, I know that by doing the right I will be blessed. I'm a Mormon because I have a testimony of it's truthfulness, and because through the restored gospel my family will be able to stay together forever.

How I live my faith

I'm a ward missionary, where I make sure those in my congregation feel loved and comfortable. I get to go with campus missionaries to some of the lessons they teach! I also sometimes get roped into helping organize small ward gatherings for "family night."
