Hi I'm Kaleb

I grew up in Utah. I have a German heritage. I play soccer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a huge, huge soccer player. I love the game and specifically the Bundesliga. My favorite team is Borussia Dortmund, but I love all of the Bundesliga as well (except for Bayern Munchen). My goal is to become a professional soccer player in the Bundesliga. My dad's side of my family is German. I grew up with the German culture and have always been fascinated with the country. I am a nutrition and fitness fanatic. As of April 2016, I will be serving an LDS mission in Frankfurt, Germany. After my mission, I have received a 4 year scholarship to play D1 soccer at Utah Valley University (UVU).

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a Mormon because I have had many experiences and also had had the spirit testify to me many times that the church is true. These experiences happen almost every time I read and pray about the scriptures, specifically the Book of Mormon. Doing anything contrary to what the Book of Mormon and the church teach would literally just be stupid for me because I know that what they teach is true. I've always been a Mormon, and I always will be. I have been VERY blessed to have the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. It is completely and absolutely obvious to me that God has had a huge hand in my life.

How I live my faith

I am currently preparing to serve a mission. That is my main focus right now. The church affects every single decision I make every single day. I strive to keep my actions aligned with what has been taught to me from the scriptures, my parents, and my church leaders.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Kaleb
A testimony is the belief that one has about a certain doctrine and/or principle of the gospel. In order to gain a testimony, one must have had an experience in order to gain a surety of that doctrine or principle. For example, in order to have a testimony of the blessings one receives from going to the temple, one must have been to the temple. Show more Show less
