Hi I'm Jack

I was born and raised in Utah. I'm a Mormon. Lived most my married life in North Salt Lake.

About Me

I worked with mainframe computers my entire working life, I began as a computer programmer using IBM assembler and COBOL then I became a systems programmer supporting IBM CICS and VTAM. I am now retired. I am married and we have four children, three boys and one daughter. They are all married and we have 15 grandchildren and one on the way.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel of Jesus Christ brings me closer to Jesus Christ and I know and understand Him better. I know he loves me and all of us and is there to help us if we have faith in him. I know he is the Son of Heavenly Father and was born of Mary and lived doing Heavenly Fathers will and to save each one of us if we have faith in Him and keep his commandments. It is a great blessing to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is lead by a Prophet of God who was called of God. He guides us back to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I have been active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my entire life. I participated in the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts while my boys were going through them. My boys earned Eagle Scouts thanks to hard work by my wife and I and they boys. I've enjoyed home teaching, this were you visit 3 or 4 families each month and get to know them and help them as needed, it has been wonderful getting to know these families and become friends.
