Hi I'm Abi Napier

I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I'm the second of seven children. I love running. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Although I perviously claimed I would never move to Utah, I'm currently a student in the valley, and I love it. I am the second oldest of seven children in a very athletic family, and therefore, ran competitively throughout middle school and high school. Although I am no longer on a cross country team I still go on regular runs that help to clear my mind and enjoy the beauty of the earth that Heavenly Father has blessed us with. My college experience started with my intent to work towards an art major, but I quickly realized that while art is a critical part of who I am, it wasn't what I was meant to pursue. So I switched to Computer Science (the last thing I ever thought I would do) and completely love it. Now, I am preparing for a Mormon mission where I can serve where the Lord needs me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have had experiences which have witnessed to me that this church is true. I choose to be a member because I am happiest when I am living the church's teachings, and I know that that is because my life is centered upon Christ at those times. I love that the church requires continuous and conscious effort, but that it also requires faith and leaning upon Christ to be successful.

How I live my faith

I love my faith, and it is an integral part of everything that I do. I currently have the opportunity to teach members scripture on Sunday, but it has served to help me learn more than anything. That knowledge that I have gained has helped me prepare to serve a mission for the church. I am very excited to serve and help others, as well as grow spiritually during my mission.
