Hi I'm Kayla

I'm from Utah. I love my family and the great outdoors. I'm a Mormon and I love it with all my heart!

About Me

I'm a fan of Ultimate Frisbee, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, skiing, campfires, and stars. I also enjoy playing the piano and flute. I love spending time with my family, especially my nephews and niece who I adore. I'm a college freshmen and I love to learn, especially about anatomy and psychology.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to a Mormon family, but I've chosen for myself to accept the blessings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons)! One incredible thing about this gospel is that you don't have to take anyone's word for it. You are able to find out for yourself. We are given an invitation to pray to our Father in Heaven with a sincere desire to know the truth, and as we do we are promised answers. I have come to know for myself through prayer, reading the Book of Mormon, and following God's commandments that miracles still happen. I know God lives! I cannot deny that truthfully. I have felt the love God has for me and His other children. He loves all of us. The Book of Mormon is true, and we have living prophets on the earth today. I have felt joy as Jesus Christ has lifted sin, distress, and embraced me with peace and love. I have not found happiness like this anywhere else. In this gospel there is always hope. God loves us and really knows how to make us happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day of my life! When I read my scriptures, I have faith that they will help me, and they really do! I live my faith by serving others and continually striving to be more like Christ. I live it by obedience to God. I keep moving forward with faith in Christ no matter what. I have chosen to devote 18 months to serve the Lord. I've been called to serve in Utica, New York as a full-time missionary to bring others to Christ. Though I may be young and have less life experience than many I will teach, I have experienced great joy through my faith and I know it is something that can bless every single person that has ever lived!
