Hi I'm Wendy

I'm a Mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it!

About Me

I was not born in the church. I was born before my parents were married. My dad was LDS and my mom was Baptist. My mom and I converted a year before I turned 8. When I turned 8, my Uncle baptized my mom and I the same day. I had always struggled with the church and confused about everything. Along the way, I have gone through many trials and been in a deep dark place. It wasn't until I turned 18 I finally understood the church. I learned the hard way in life, but I would not want to live any other way. I turned 20 and got engaged to and married to my best friend. We have been friends over 7 years and he is also LDS. I work to save money so that my husband and I can move to Arizona so that he can go to mechanic school.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the church is true by praying, studying the scriptures, and being counseled by missionaries. I found my answers by having an open mind and willing to learn about the church leaving behind any harsh feelings and rumors about the church. The Holy Ghost whispers quietly to us and it is our job to listen to the promptings and do as they say. I love the church so very much and would not live any other way. I am a Mormon!

How I live my faith

Because I work so much, I am unable to go to church on Sundays. I live my faith by studying the scriptures, going onto LDS.org to learn about the church, and much more. My husband goes to church on Sundays and when I get home from work, he teaches me about what was taught. I try and live our Father in Heaven's plan and live by His word. It is my responsibility to treat everyone as Heavenly Father treats us.
