Hi I'm Kahlie Brumbles

I grew up in Lancaster California, I hope to become a Physical Therapist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Some things about me, I love to dance and go for runs. I love the fall when the leaves change. My favorite place to vacation is on my grandparents farm. I love being happy and being around others who are always positive, and happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the religion makes me happy. I was fully converted to the Gospel when I went to EFY (Especially For Youth) at Utah State. EFY is just a camp that youth 14 to 18 can go and sleep in the dorms, be in a group, and attend classes and dances and many fun activities while feeling the spirit. During the week I had questions about the church and if it was true. I remember the lessons in the classes were on faith. I decided to have faith and believe that by the end of the week I would recieve an answer to my prayer on if the church was true. On the 4th night there was a big fireside where everyone gathered together to listen to a musical number and a speaker. During the musical number I felt an overhwelming feeling of peace and comfort. At that moment a thought came to me, "The church is true". It was so powerful that I couldn't deny it. I truly know that the church is true. I have felt more happiness in my life than I could ever have imagined. I know that Christ died for us so that we can start new each day. I know that the scriptures are true and that they hold the answers to problems that we may face today. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet on this earth and leads and guides this church today. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following Christ's example and being kind to others. I am a primary teacher so I have learned alot on patience and that being kind goes a long way. I also live my faith by going out of my way to serve others. And attend church, read my scriptures, and say my prayers everyday. Iv'e learned that it's even the small things that make the biggest difference.

What is faith?

Kahlie Brumbles
Faith is putting your trust in Heavenly Father that when times get tough you can turn to him in prayer and he will be there to comfort and guide you. Faith is not knowing what will happen but knowing that Heavenly Father is in control and that when we step into the fog he will guide us. Show more Show less
