Hi I'm Lynette

I was born, raised and still live in Utah. I am a wife, mother, educator and quilter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

With my husband, we have raised three wonderful children. They have provided us with many laughs and a lot of happiness. Now that we are "empty nesters", I am expanding my talents. I learned to sew from my mother. I have now taken to making quilts. I love to see and touch various fabrics. I love to piece and shape the fabric into beautiful quilts. I am an educator by occupation and I love to see a students face "light up" when they have that moment of understanding. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a "Mormon". I have wonderful parents who taught me early in life to love the Savior, Jesus Christ, and to study the gospel. There have been times I have struggled, times I have coasted along, and times I have known without a doubt that this is the true Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I still consider myself a work in progress. I continue to study and grow. But this I know, my Savior loves me and he is mindful of me and I choose to follow his example and be like him. I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to teach the youth about Jesus Christ and his teachings each Sunday. I have a class with fourteen students in it. They are all ages 15-16. I am amazed at their knowledge and their ability and desire to learn more. Lessons are taught to involve them and they are even asked to teach part of the lesson. I love these kids and the energy they bring to learning the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
